The Scottish
Roaster, LLC is a family owned authentic specialty coffee micro-roaster
established in 1993 here in the mile high city of Denver, Colorado.
We’ve spent the last several years improving, modernizing and
expanding The Scottish Roaster business while not loosing sight
of our small-business quality and service reputation. Primarily
a wholesale coffee distributor to some of the finest restaurants,
coffee houses and specialty stores along the Front Range of Colorado,
our gourmet coffees are also available to walk-in, phoned in and
on-line customers at any time. |

The Scottish
Roaster offers a full line of varietals, Fair Trades, blends,
organics, decafs and flavored coffees plus an extensive list of
coffee-service products (Monin & Stirling Gourmet Syrups,
Oregon Chai, Stash Teas, Jet Tea, Jet Cafe, Guittard Chocolate,
Granita mixes and more). Our Arabica beans are procured from only
select-grade farms from some of the most recognized regions in
the world and are guaranteed for quality. The majority of our
beans are also shade-grown. Shade crops require no pesticides,
grow slower for a better bean, enhance natural bird populations
and support sustainability. This way, we offer a product that
is better for you and the environment. |

Besides the
bean quality, roasting is by far the most important aspect of
what we do. The Scottish Roaster roasts only the beans necessary
to fill orders. Our coffees are handled and treated like delicate
produce and are never shelved for inventory. Our small batch artisan
roasting is controlled by the roaster’s eye, never by computers
or timers and none of our beans are over roasted to mask bean
imperfections. If it doesn’t roast properly or taste right, it
isn’t sold. Each bean is roasted to optimize its varietal characteristics,
and then blended for some of the most exciting coffee you will
ever taste. |

The Scottish
Roaster offers a full line of commercial coffee and espresso equipment.
For coffee customers, we provide the necessary drip brewers and
coffee grinders for your business. And for your espresso needs,
we sell a wide range of quality Italian-made Nuova Simonelli and
Rancilio espresso machines to choose from (automatics, semi-automatics,
single, 2,3 or 4 group heads, and espresso grinders). Every machine
we provide is backed by our exceptional tech-support team that
will respond promptly and efficiently for any service need. |
